The aim of the MacarthurCook Art Award is to provide recognition and assistance to the careers and passions of people who are looking to be creative and make a contribution to the quality of our lives.
"Creativity in business is essential in today’s competitive world. At MacarthurCook we have, I believe, an understanding of the determination, skill and passion required to be successful in business or as an artist." Craig Dunstan (Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer)

This year the prize will be awarded to paintings and photography for artworks centred on the “built environment” theme.

Simon Klose, Director of Benalla Art Gallery,
Suzanne Davies, Director at RMIT Gallery
together with renowned artist Jon Cattapan.
